Can I run mommy? She always asks in that raspy voice that wraps me up in love. I nod a smiling yes…run! Her feet pound the payment and I listen just a little and can hear her little lungs sucking breath in…breathing it out. And it occurs to me…

Just because you’re breathing doesn’t mean you’re really living.

Souls can only live on God-oxygen…the Word He breathed out is the Word we live on.

So, the question always is… *Are you living or just breathing?*

For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ WHO IS YOUR LIFE appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:3-4

It’s easy to forget…JESUS is your life.  Our life is hidden with Christ. Our life is hidden, but it will be revealed. There is a revelation of Jesus Christ at the end of all things and your life bound to His will be revealed when He appears.

Remember John’s Word…

Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:2

Something is going to happen when He appears… We will be like HIM. Why? Because we will see Him as He is. And that Philippians promise…He is going to finish that good work He began! In Jesus, all ends well.

Something can happen now though… If we see our lives as caught up in His. The way we see affects the way we live. If we see earth as eternal we will live worldly. If we see the Word as optional, our minds will be deceived. The way we see is the way we live.

*Are you living or just breathing?*

To live is Christ.

There is only One Beautiful Way to live, Jesus.
